The majestically beautiful pink lotus is known by a number of common names including "Indian lotus", "sacred lotus", "bean of India", and "sacred water-lily". It is held in high-regard by many cultural and spiritual groups. The lotus represents purity of body, speech, and mind, floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire. Nelumbo nucifera contains a handful of useful alkaloids, primarily nuciferine and aporphine. Nuciferine is being studied for potential usefulness in inhibiting spontaneous motor activity, conditioned avoidance response, amphetamine toxicity, and stereotypy. Aporphine's commonly used derivative, apomorphine, is studied in its usefulness for Parkinson’s disease, erectile dysfunction, and sexual arousal disorder.  

This pink lotus has a stronger, unique scent compared to our white and blue lotus.  Lotus is becoming more rare as growing housing estates become the biggest threat to lotus farms in Thailand.   We have a very limited stock, so get this high quality product at a great price now while you still can.
